Coronavirus update

The latest guidance is that outdoor sport is permitted from Monday 29th March. YAY!

That means table tennis cannot resume just yet – please see below.

Everyone else, you can meet outdoors in groups of up to 6 people, or as a group of two households, for exercise or recreation.

Outdoor sport for adults and children is permitted in larger numbers, provided it is formally organised (for example, by a national governing body) and follows COVID-secure guidance. Please contact your sports representative for more info or email secretary@ryedalesportsclub.org.uk.

And thanks to support (& hard work) from members, the committee, sponsors, Ryedale D.C. & others, lots of stuff has been going on at the club while we’ve been closed. We hope you’ll approve.

Table tennis

The latest from Table Tennis England is that from Monday 29th March you can play outdoors – if you like a challenge! More interestingly, the current plan is that no earlier than 17th May we can play indoors again with up to 6 people, and no earlier than 21st June we’re back to normal. Fingers still crossed, then.
