Table tennis

As a Table Tennis England Associate Club we take our sport fairly seriously, but more importantly we try to ensure everyone enjoys themselves. Beginners especially we want to have fun with no pressure to do any more than you want to.

Wednesday morning – women & girls only

Please note – by popular demand, this session is now for women & girls only!

Every Wednesday morning at 10:00 we have a table tennis session for those who want to try out this excellent sport for the first time or used to play and want to start again. A great chance for girls of all ages to improve their fitness and to meet others in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The sessions last for two hours and are really enjoyable times with (coronavirus permitting!) a cup of tea and a biscuit half way through.

The first visit is free. We can supply bats and balls but please bring a pair of indoor sports shoes to change into.

We look forward to seeing you.

Other Sessions

We also usually meet on Mondays & Fridays from 14:00 – 16:00, mainly attended by improvers & those working up to a decent standard, but again everyone is welcome. If you’re new to the game there should be a friendly face or two to point you in the right direction. The first visit is free and we should have a spare bat for you to use.

If you think you’re good enough….! Then we have sessions aimed at more experienced players on Sundays from 10:00 – 12:00 & Tuesdays 14:00 – 16:00. These are usually busy with league players who tend to be…. well, let’s just say they’re competitive! Still a friendly bunch though.

We currently have ten teams playing in the Ryedale Table Tennis League so if you think you might be interested in joining one of them and competing against other players from the Ryedale area, this is another good reason for joining the club.
